"Regenschauer" is a noun, that is why it says "Der Regenschauer" under the photo on the left-hand side. "Der Regenschauer" is the of the sentence.

Now study the photo on the right-hand side. The "ein" has been changed to "einen"; "einen" is the masculine
form of "ein".

In section A1 Lower, you have learnt that you need the accusative case for the object of a sentence, e.g.

Jetzt sieht man  einen Regenbogen.
expression of time verb subject

(nominative case)

direct object

(accusative case)

But "Regenschauer" is not a direct of the phrase "keinen Tag ohne einen Regenschauer". In that sentence, you need the accusative case because of the preposition "ohne".

The preposition "ohne" is
followed by accusative case, e.g.
Kein Tag ohne meinen Sport!
Sie geht nie ohne ihren Hund spazieren.
Du kannst nicht ohne deinen Reisepass fahren.
Ohne den Test kann man das nicht wissen.
