"ihr" is a so-called homonym, i.e. a word that is said or spelled the same way as another word but has a different meaning. Study the three photos and the accompanying texts.  In this example, "ihr" is a pronoun and one of the possible equivalents of "" (the others are "du" and ""). "ihr" is used to address more than one person the way.
